BEST way to deal with beggars

Beggar: Can I have 10k?
You: Yes but first you must do help me do this daily quest. (I'd say dungeon crawlers and unstoppable force are the best)
Beggar: Sure
You: -stay in the corner let the beggar do the work-
Beggar: Can I have 10k now?
You: Thanks for the help, And no you can't have 10k. Hope you learned a lesson not to beg
You: -log off or go somewhere else-
Now you just got your daily quest done, and taught a beggar a valuable lesson. :P

1. What makes you so sure that they will follow what you tell them to do? Most beggars are lowbies and I doubt if they can even do the crawler quest.
2. Doing so would not make you a better person than them.
3. Just teleport somewhere else or simply ignore. As easy as that.

If that's really the 'best' solution you can come up with, it's a sad day.

If someone asks me for gold, I would try and explain them where they can farm for it or show them the basics of merching. If more people would take the time to actually try and help them out, not by giving them gold but by explaining how they can earn it themselves, the community would be a better place.

Making fun of beggars makes you no better than them. They annoy you, so you're just going to annoy them back? It's probably the easiest thing to do, but that doesn't make you any better as the people also trying to reach their goals in the easiest way possible. If they don't want to take your advice and keep begging, as said here before, simply add them to your ignore list.

Don't get me wrong, I get annoyed by beggars too, but I had several of them who actually started to put some more effort into earning their own stuff, after explaining the basics and explaining them that begging won't make them any friends.

But hey, I guess everyone has their own way to deal with this.

I just tell them how you get gold (I.e, kill enemies, plat, chests, merch) then I go away.

Had someone ask me for gold yesterday. I asked them why they deserve my hard earned rewards. They responded "B/c I'm low level & its easy for you to earn gold"

I normally amuse myself with beggars but my newest was is say sure ill give you xxx gold for (insert mythic or arcane item). They stop right after.
