My Opinion of the Best Gear for Mages in PL

Okay, so many people wonder ,"What gear should I get for my mage?" Many people make the mistake of throwing away money for gear that will only last 3 lvs. This is the best and WORST gear for a mage to get.

Good gear:

Voodoo gear: whole set if u can. Lasts until lv 45. (15 lvs of use) (Hardish to farm :P)

Brain-Freeze- Great for lv 30 pvp and good for players who can't afford voodoo. Not a bad set, in fact, pretty good. (Thanks for reminding me Blastyou)

Charmin Glyph: charmin if u can afford it. Primarily pvp. lv 60 for questing, 56 for pvp. (Hard to farm without using plat)

Crafted Lilith: GIVES THE BEST REGENS IN THE GAME! This is by far the best gear for lv 65 in my opinion. Whole set looks cool for effect



WORST!

Shadow: This gear is outragously expensive and doesn't help in pvp against hate and sentinel sets. (Drops in Shadow Caves)

Gemstone: This gear is not smart to buy as it is extremely easy to farm. (not a bad set tho. this is in worst because I don't want u to buy it!!!)
(Drops in Balefort Sewers)

Crystalline/Onyx: The worst buys in all of PL. These are EXTREMELY EASY to farm and are a pain to sell for a profit. (Market prices flucuate too much)(Both drop in Sandstone Caves)

Earthquake: Not as bad as Crystalline and Onyx but isn't a good buy. (Drops in Sandstone Caves)

Forgotten Staffs: I hate when I see a mage with this because forgotten staffs aren't that great and are hard to sell.

Shadow is a great set. So are L25 Crystal/earthquake sets.

Gemstone is the best gear for levels between 51-55.

Your judging by price and looks... That won't get you very far in pvp and pve.

You forgot Brain Freeze...every time I level a twink, I use the pink 30 gear up til level 45 and it works great.

I'm basing my knowledge on what to farm and buy. Crystalline isn't worth the time as brain-freeze comes in 5 lvs. Thanks for reminding me of brain freeze. Will add
