The Splintered Tree Tavern in Kelys

Whenever I need to sell an item to someone who is NOT in my guild, it always becomes an issue finding a place to meet up. As there are so many instances of each town, you cannot say "meet me in Kraag" since they will end up in a different instance of Kraag than yours. Also, trying to use the join button never works when players are in a town since most of the time that town is full.

I've noticed a common place to meet is in Blackenridge Forest on the beginning bridge. I guess players feel safe there to conduct business as this is a very low level map.

This week I noticed that the Splintered Tree Tavern in the new City of Kelys is a nice wide open area, and is almost always empty. The taverns in Windmore and Kraag are always mobbed since they have the bards quests there. However there is no bards quest in the Splintered Tree Tavern, and the only reason players would go there is for a couple of one-time quests, or to buy potions.

So in the last couple of days I've been having players meet me there to make trades. It's about 10 steps from the auction in Kelys, so very convenient when I'm merching, and it's always empty so never a problem for them to "join" me.

I just thought I would share this with everyone. It's a nice place to meet up with someone without having to enter a dungeon to do so.

Not really, most people don't have time to chill ingame yet because the new expansion keeps them busy.

One thing to note though, lower level toons who have not completed the quest to get into Shuyal won't be able to travel here.
