Umm... they never took away any of the arcane pets.

Samael is, by far, the best of them.

Eh, I wouldn't agree. Samael has one of the weakest passive attacks out of all 3 arcane pets. People overlook so many counterbalances between all 3 arcane pets. I wouldn't say that one pet is better than the other as they all have their specific uses in each situation. So, Samael being the best? Not true - maybe in a certain area, but he IS one of the weaker pets to have in timed runs and various other aspects of the game.

Geez... Noobish.. S A M A E L firstly.. Secondary.. Mythic r purchase'able wid plat... Arcane r dropable from crates... And at last. Samael is great.

I just like when I'm doing elites and samael banishes some of the mobs. makes life easier. Plus his AOE heal is a big helping hand.

that wouldn't be a problem except for that fact that the lowest arcane pet hammerjaw is 6-8m which would probably 500$ or more of platnium not exactly the thing id wanna spend 500$ on (if I had 500$ worth of plat I'd probably open locks >_> ) but I assume this was a joke anyways

To get it from locked crates, you would have to open about that much worth of locked crates, so that is the value of an arcane pet.

What you are really complaining about is not the locked crates. You are complaining that you think the price of an arcane pet is too high. Sorry, but that is the price. Yes there are very expensive items in this game. I suggest you find a different item that is within your price range and get that instead.

I always wanted to drive a Ferrari, but instead I drive a cheaper car. It works the same way in this game. Not everyone can have what they want.

I wasn't complaining in any way, I'm just saying that it isn't exactly viable or smart to drop 500+$ to convert gold to plat ik some people probably do do it but to me there's way better things to spend plat/money on and if I wanted a arcane pet I'd just merch for it, seriously I thought you were joking when you said it

I was being a bit sarcastic I suppose, but there are tons of players who have dropped $500+ on this game opening crates in order to get arcane items. Most of the players you see walking around with a Maul or Samael pet opened hundreds of crates to get those items. I do suspect nobody has spent $500+ on gold conversion. Instead they spend it on opening creates hoping they will get lucky in just a few crates, but then they keep going and in the end they probably spend more.

That's how gambling works. You just keep telling yourself "one more crate".....
