Ok let me just end this here, i called apple, anything (APP) through apple/mac service on any app compatible with apple is not a commercial product or activity, in fact if it was apple could get sued for it but thats going into heavy law. Point being, both these apps r made possible by apple therefore like i said about bank mergers they link making what i did totally harmless.

I call BS on you actually calling Apple about this. And even if you did, there is no way they gave you that blanket statement.

The Apple App Store is just a medium through which Spacetime Studios will offer Pocket Legends and offer platinum for real $$. Soon the game will be on the Android Market.

The servers are owned and operated by Spacetime Studious, not Apple.

1) stop this thread, will only hurt your case.

2) email STS and ask for a temp ban in which case you will stop what you origionally did.

3) if a no then deal with it as you have no recourse except give PL a bad review

4) you are a user and subject to the provider so suck it up.

5) fair or not, thats what happened and even if all of us agree with you, it makes no difference.


... personally i think a perm ban is too harsh but thats only me. If it does not mentally affect another player like racial slurs or swearing then I think a partial ban is good enough. Dont get me wrong, if I was STS I would also ban you but only for a week or so and if happends again then perm ban but thats just me.

On the flip side (your side) the ban should not have even happened... if STS is so insecure about thier product then they shouldnt make it public where individuals are free to chat one another. When u recruited for another game, it is still subject to that person's game prefrence.. which STS cannot dictate people play PL and not others...

Where your case is lost is your actions were performed on the STS platform. Think of it this way... "this is my house and I will throw you out if I want to without a reason".

For your daily dose of irony (part of a balanced breakfast!), read the TOS for your game. It reads, in part:

"....reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to remove or disable access to any (game company) Content, including, any User Content, that (game company) in its sole discretion, considers to be in violation of these Terms of Use or otherwise harmful to the Site or Services.....". (bolding added) I.e. Ban, perma- or otherwise for:

"....Use the Site, Services or (game company) Content for any commercial purpose or the benefit of any third party or in any manner not permitted by these Terms of Use;...." (bolding added).

To put it simply, were you to advertise PL on your game, the same thing could happen. (company name redacted to avoid giving them any more publicity)

I am putting this thread to rest, but first I want to get the truth out there. You were banned for asking for account credentials, NOT advertising a different game (although we can ban for that as well). The ban is permanent, good day sir.
