    Default Benefits of removing orbs from ctf

    After pvping the past two days... and hearing a couple of complaints about orbs.. i believe it'll be simple to just make orbs available when you are killed inside a ctf base (spawn room) The victim gains 3-5 seconds of being invulnerable (CAN deal damage, but CANT take any damage/roots/freezes).
    And Rhino/Mage Revives' CANT trigger the orb either.

    OR a way simpler method. Create a CTF Room door (or line) at the entrance. Opposite teams cant enter the base and once you exit it, you cant re-enter it either.. youll return only if you are killed. (This will prevent pvpers from trolling, entering and exiting base during a fight to frustrate opponents.

    Not sure if it would affect the fun of CTF but at least itll resolve spawning and boosting.

    But perhaps its a lot of programming that needs to be done >_<
    So i wouldn't expect it, but itll be great.

    I understand what you are saying, but in justg's thread he stated that it would be to difficult to create the line, like in AL PvP. I really don't understand why we can't have the line. I barely do pvp anyway lol.

    Ive never pvped in Al nor played Al so i wouldnt know, sorry.

    And yea i guess difficult due to programming etc, but i mean if the devs are in it for the long run, they might as well fix it right, or not fix it at all.
    Having said that, they are already in the midst of change, which is greatly applaud by many from the Pl community. And i know this isnt the alpha form of pvp yet since I read they will implement changes according to timeline feedback, so i guess the orb complaining is due to frustration more than anything. Hopefully a better spawn system is made tough.

    Just for the record, I do believe that petitions are against ToS. Maybe call it "Benefits of removing orbs from ctf"?

    I find the orb annoying in pvp, especially upon receiving a rev and not being able to use skill or target someone with the orb

    Devs, why didn't you just make an uncrossable wall for ennemy team, as in AL, when a pvp match hasn't started yet? This kind of wall isn't possible to be made?


    Here is a thread I had made a long time ago about spawning solution I had evoked the Orb invincibility idea (was Patsoe Idea)

    Orbs blow they dont help spawning at all... when ever i have orb somone just stays right on top of me till its gone then kills bfore i can get buffs. Take them out.

    In deathmatch friendly FFA it sucks because you still can be targeted and hurt in the three seconds. :/

    not get hurt exactly just u can get targetted, stunned, pulled, rooted etc (excluding the damages)

    not really need to totally take off the orb, rather this bug should be fixed and make some small changes such as a orb can't be targeted, the person in the orb can only buff and target someone not attact.

    I may be mistaken, but for me it seems as if someone uses blind, it does no damage yet destroys my hit%. I may be wrong, but I can't seem to hit anything afterwards(while using beastly set on my L71) even though I have Focus for hit%.

    ^ nope ur not wrong that is what I meant, the procs effects without the dmg.

    The thing is that we do not know how easy it is to program these type of changes. I would like the things mentioned in here, but I don't see them to be possible. It's not like clicketyclickclack, done.
