Why can't we also stash the chests we farm (not the locked ones, all the others)?

I agree - I accidentally opened an Elite Golden Puzzlebox the other day when I thought I was opening an Elite Golden Warchest. I had intended to sell the PuzzleBox, but my auction slots were full so I had to wait because I couldn't stash it. Then of course, I got a bunch of junk from the accidental opening of the PuzzleBox and lost out on at least 100k - all because I couldn't stash it to prevent what I knew was eventually going to happen.

I've stashed Copper chests. Or are you talking about Elite Chests?

I don't know about Elite Warchests, but I do know that Elite Puzzleboxes are not stashable. It may be that none of the elite chests are stashable - I'll have to find out.

Really, can't stash? I know for sure that non elite chests, crates and eggs are stashable. Guess I have never tried with elite chests. Is it with all elite chests? It would make sense that the Golden Elite Chest II from Jarl cannot be stashed since you cannot trade or sell these. I don't understand why other elite chest can not be stashed.

You can't stash elite chests like elite pirate, warchests, and puzzleboxes.

TY Falmear! I could have sworn that I stashed Elite Warchests. Wonder why we can stash Elite Puzzleboxes.

You can't stash any of the elite chests. Most of the elite ones (ALL of the ones you can currently drop) can be GIVE-n, so I give them to a merch toon or to an alt toon to clear inventory on my mains.

I'm not sure of the reasoning either since you can gift/sell them.

Additionally, Elite XXXX Chest II cannot be sold or stashed. I'd like to know why that is too.
