Some of these players came in late. Mrsbanana which is also barbamitos taught me at level 40 or 45. You could basically say im the second generation and nana is first generation. Players like hmmhmm and imp came in later, more like third and fourth generation. He's right migo, I'm all up for remembering old players, but when it turns into a popularity contest / "self glorification" it loses all validity and you know... Kinda just becomes ironic: Let's remember the legends of the past! (only the ones I like). Oh and also some of the new twinks! (but again, only the ones I like) :P

All of the old players were always willing to help each other our and teach each other. The number of players now compared to the start of PvP has grown so much. The legendary players up here were basically the only PvP'ers.

OK but the problem is this thread is leaning more towards glorifying certain people. When someone writes " im the best lv 1-45 pvper everrrr, winner of all contest, all banana fam is epic, so disgusted with this new generation etc". It just seems this person is so conceited and the only true meaning for this thread was to glorify themselves and their friends rather than remembering the vets.
Like barb has already said, he didn't put his own name on the list because he felt he deserved to be there. He put his name on the list because other people felt he deserved to be there. And he's made it a trend to include a little bit about them in the parentheses...winner of multiple pvp contests seems like something worth noting, dont you think? I don't think barb made this thread with the intent of glorifying himself and all his close friends, more so just to remember the names of great pvp players that can be so easily forgotten. And again, just because the creator of the list happens to be one of those people shouldn't do anything to lessen it's validity.
