Five Elements is the home of constant creation, forged by heavy hitters who travel light. Just like the philosophy of the same name, we believe that we all have it in us to conquer anything, and breathe life into all we can imagine. We dreamed of a playground made by old-skool friends, for old-skool friends, where our inner child is free to explore and have fun. So we made it come true.



Our adventures take us far, but we always know where our roots lie. And that is with -

At the Heart of it all we're long-time RPGamers united by our differences, and a shared vision of reviving those dying values. Fiercely loyal to one another, we work smart, play hard and always find reasons to smile and rejoice! We know and treasure what's real, are all thrilled to be here, and have each other. The entrepeneurial energy runs high in here. Cool on the outside, burning with passion on the inside. We hail from multiple timezones.

♠ The Guild Direction ♠

Currently, our core group is focused on growth in these 2 areas - PVE/Elite Farming and Wealth, with the view of a gradual but steady increase in PVP presence. One banner, one vision. Everything we do has to be fun, and done with friends. This section will be updated as we evolve.


Leadership Style

In a nutshell : With a vision - Confident; relaxed but firm. Our officers hail from many different walks of life - we're lucky to have some of the most caring, down-to-earth people you will meet anywhere. We've never liked the elitist attitude, so we never adopted it. Everyone is valuable, not just a number or rank.

We have a knack for seeing through armour to spot a player's potential, and aren't afraid to step back and let our people shine. In fact we strive to lead our people into independence, with a theme of sustainable sharing - over-dependency is viewed as something to be conquered.

All members enjoy plenty of room to create, explore and flourish, with a nice support structure and safety net.



Specialists

Our vets who hail from larger MMOs are able to coach and run with players at any given skill level. We attract many hardcore gamers with casual playtimes, and casual gamers with hardcore playtimes.

Some of us are well-known twink leaders and multi-level PVP / PVE specialists; We excel at grooming twinks who want to hit the endgame fast and furious.

As a whole, we're able to run any PVE map efficiently and maximize yields. As long as you're able to work with our teams and adopt our methods well, it's pretty much a given.

Several of our core players are also entrepreneurs in RL and/or make a living off showing others ways to exercise their powers effectively. We've hand-picked and successfully mentored skilled PUGs and twinks to both twink and endgame leaderboard level.

♦ What We're Looking For ♦

Essentially, players who :

• Are Active.
  
• Truly believe in our philosophy. And rock it!
  
• Are loyal, know how to have healthy fun - will fight by our side till the fat lady sings!
  
• At Endgame, or plan to hit it fast and furious.
  
  Here, we do the same things as everyone else a little differently - your current level and gear is not that important. We look at your skill level and how serious you are about getting geared and getting to endgame. We pick epic aptitude (level : crier) over arcane egoes any day. There are some things in life that can't be bought or taught!

You do not beg, scam, harrass, bully, threaten, spam, steal from, or exploit your guildies. As a general rule of thumb, you'll be expected to carry our name well outside too.

These also need to be respected :


Language

• English Channel in guild chat. We're very international and love+welcome all other variations & languages (incl engalog, aussie, cockney, Irish-English, Spanglish, Singlish, ebonics - lol) as long as you intend to share the plain English translation with everybody. If it's not meant for the rest of us, pls use the PM function
  
• Off-colour language is welcome, as long as not excessive. Risqué topics are welcome if done artfully. Our handful of under-18s r mature, but we don't want to be responsible for ruining any childhoods y'know what I'm sayin'. :P

PvP - unless all parties have agreed to it beforehand

• No joining the opposite side (first come basis). No killing of guildies.
  Well you can, if you're prepared to have your kdr messed up.
  
  
• Display the Guild name

Promotions

• Do not ask to be promoted - this is given at our own discretion. Commitment and contribution do get rewarded. Ultimately, we look at how you add to the support structure, how you take care of our own.
