    Default Remove PvP Damage Nerf

    I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about this, because some people argue it's making fights more skill-based and some people are annoyed because it makes fights really, really long. I'm one of those people that thinks this pvp damage nerf is quite annoying, as it's really just pointlessly prolonging fights. It's also forcing classes to resort to certain builds because damage focused builds simply don't work. I primarily pvp around the 15-35 range and I can personally say that the damage nerf is getting on everyone's nerves. Here are the main problems caused by the damage nerf (in lower levels):

    1.) Nobody uses nuke builds anymore. Bears can't nuke for jack and birds are pretty much poop and do virtually nothing. No one uses birds because they are sooooo underpowered, as they rely on nuking/dodging, and cannot debuff or heal. With the pvp nerf they're useless.

    2.) Classes with heal become extremely op (mages, rhinos). It's really hard to get mages down to low health, and once we do, *boom* 4-6 heal brings them back to full health. Again, bears, birds, and foxes can't really nuke anymore so characters with high heal are almost impossible to beat. For example, my 26 bear does maybe 70-90 if im lucky with a paw while buffed (most of the time it's 40-60 dmg), and mages can heal 100 easily.

    3.) Mage vs mage fights. I mean honestly... I could make dinner 50 times before a mage vs mage fight is finished.

    I think STS has been doing an awesome job fixing pvp by nerfing things that need to be nerfed, but the pvp damage nerf is quite unnecessary. I can live with the bird/bear skill nerfs and whatnot, but could you guys please remove the pvp damage nerf? If the majority says not to, then don't, but I personally know a lot of people who don't favor it. Thanks

    I agree about the nuke problems. True, some classes nukes were a little op but the short high-powered fights were more fun. My custom bird can't kill a glyph sm bear anymore... I have to use all skills including root, combo at least 3 times.. this used to be my favorite lvl

    I definitely agree, as they should've just lowered the opness of endgame sets, and not done the damage nerf. Low level is completely annoying now, and 50-61 birds and rhinos can't get in enough damage to kill anything.

    At first, when I read the title, I disagreed. However, after thinking about it, I'm somewhat convinced you are right. To be honest, before the nerf, everyone was dealing way too much damage. I don't think that was because of the damage nerf, however. That was because of those ridiculous forgotten bows. Now that those are gone, I would love pvp to go back to how it was, and I believe it would be much more balanced than it is now.

    The only argument I can think of to keep this nerf is to say it's a step in the right direction which needs to be followed up by more steps in the right direction. However, I'm not sure this is the case. I will keep my mind open to hearing opinions, though, as I believe everyone (especially the devs) should.

    I don't have any problems with the nerf. IMO rhinos (one of my favorite classes to use) can kill easier and classes take more skill before. I like the longer fights, it was no fun with fights before lasting only a few seconds.

    Umm, what I'd like to know is why nerf damage but keep heal growing at the exponential rate it has been? Makes no sense to me.

    Heal should be nerfed by 15-30%.

    birds are really underpowered, they cant strike crits, neither can they dodge much

    they need to nerf specific gear rather than all damage
    However, regarding the complaints about long fights, ffa is just as fast paced as always. Maybe they wanted to work on that balance first.

    @Apollo Yesyesyes because of the lack of damage, there shouldn't be a need to be healed as much, no?

    @tHelonestud Yesyesyes exactly what I'm saying, I don't get the relevance to them tweaking all levels when endgame (66+) was pretty much the only op problem.

    Exactly right. Most classes have resorted to switching to tankier builds now and this just makes pvp more tedious, and build diversity is really low now. There aren't little to no benefits to the damage nerf just like the orb system, so please STS do the same thing with this and remove.

    Yes, low levep mage fights take a long time. Ive tried many builds, the nuke ones didn't work, etc.
    Rhinos (other than the 20 ones) already didn't do much dmg before Nerf, after they do way less.
    At 51, bear vs rhino fights are endless, and sometimes int mage vs rhino are too.
    I really want the dmg to be back, instead of nerfing the dmg, they should Nerf endgame sets and stuff.

    not eveyone pvp at 61+ yo, and its not all about 61+ pvp., the nerf dont bother me ,what ever floats their boat id get along, ...birds l1-35 they dont rly have much chance on their side, i agree

    Before damage nerf, PvP was just fine except end games. Now, this damage nerf not only messed up lower levels, but it didn't even fix end game PvP.

    So, what do we have left to PvP with on now? I believe you think that the damage nerf is fine considering that you're a lilith mage, which we all know has L61 PvP relatively easy.
