Mythic Gun or Staff for PvP?

For those who have experience with both which do you prefer. I currently have a mythic staff (full mythic gear except ring) but I am finding the range/ auto target limitations don't make up for the extra damage and health. I have been thinking of going back to a gun and picking up a ring with the price difference. Thoughts?

Staff>Gun, only problem is you need to be up close n personal.

My opinion too, when you don't have time and dying and you're away from your enemy then you're dead. You just need to be a pro using a staff and being close to your enemy then you're a beast in pvp.

Staff. Gun is like a distance wep, Staff is your shotgun. Get close and let your damage and DPG eat the crap out of them.,

I have both;

The sheer damage and Proc of the staff can own a gun anyday. I have been dropped by Gun mages maybe twice or 3 times and I was drunk or something. On the other hand Staff mages do significant dmg and their proc is so beautiful.


The gun proc is also sweet, but I still prefer my staff. Once I have Arcane I'll let you guys know *crosses fingers*

gun is now weak in pvp and cant effectively get kills without spending
