Elixir Bug or not?

Actually i'm playing on my alt toon of my warrior n i never buy any platinum n i dont buy any elixirs......bt today while doing some quests i tapped on the luck elixir n the 7 platinum that sts gives at the start i saved them...today they got used unknowingly i tapped on them n it used 4 platinum n later after finishing quests i jus left that toon n played on my main toons
when i came back now to my warrior the luck elixir is still available its still around 21m left and it got paused when i'm in towns its not running its still at 21m and when i play in any areas its running
is this a bug?

This behavior is expected.

The purchased elixirs only count down when in a map, but the free elixirs from Klaas and Shaz count down whether you are in a map, in guild hall or logged out.
