I dont have a problem with either of you, so please dont take this offensively.... Just trying to keep on topic and resolve the problem outlined in the OP.

I got to 50 mil without help, the 100 mil however would have been long time in the process. I got lucky and my guild hooked me up. During the day we all got midas nobody got scammed to my knowledge but then again we all were trusted individuals. However scamming is in the nature of humans and for many their stories didn't end well. I think a 100mil AP is kind of "ego-stroking" and better APS could be added;

To not just complain I'll provide a few additional APS;

25k PVP Kills (Angel of Death)
50k PVP Kills (God of War)

100 DM Kills
1000k DM Kills
5k DM Kills
10k DM Kills
25k DM Kills
50k DM Kills

This is just PVP:

Money AP make it go to the max 25mil.

1 mil Filthy rich
10 mil Goldfinger
25 mil Midas Touch

MErch AP:

1 MErch
10 Auctioneer
50 (Wallstreet or (broker)

I agree however that the 100 mil is a complete ego stroke and should be nerfed.

I would have to say that IMO it is the best solution. My only stipulation would be that everyone earnt the title the same way,so it get reset accross the entire game. This is the fairest to everyone, including myself that will lose the AP's.

Remember, this is not a solution to scamming, it's a means of taking the main way of scamming out of the game. We might not be able to stop us all being stupid, but we can remove this scenario. For the rest it is up to STS do decide on how they will be policing the problems they face. After this thread I would think that even if they weren't aware of the magnitude of scamming they certainly are now.

It would be nice if you guys (STS) would let us know what you are thinking, I think a lot of players would appreciate it.


Thanks to everyone for taking the time and effort to support the thread, it's extremely refreshing to know that there are so many people that care about the game as much as they do. You're a great bunch.

No TDM kills APs is fair imo now.

They shoulde been implanted with the update so other players doesn't har an advantage.

I love the idea of having a reversible trade window. And a 5 minute timescale is an ideal time. Gives both parties ample time to reverse any wrong doing and doesn't affect the gifting system.

However there is a major flaw to this:

Imagine this scenario. Falmear I just sold u an arcane staff for 50 mill. Trade goes through, you're over the moon and off you go to an elite to try it. In the 5 mins that follow someone offers me 60 mill. I cancel the trade, ur in the middle of a map, the item is returned to me and you are screwed.
It's too easy for someone to mess with you. Imagine the arguments. I know no one loses out, but it's gonna be a real issue.

Also the commas being inserted should theoretically prevent any scam if that is what you are trying to achieve here. Whilst we're trying to help players by taking temptation away, they should have a certain degree of responsibility. If they can't make a successful trade by reading a number, separated by commas, in the final trade window...... I really don't have any sympathy. Sorry.

Like I said all items are locked for 5 mins. So you can't hatch the egg during that 5 min window. Anything traded can't be used during that 5 min window. So that could also mean you can't equip that item either. Once the grace period has ended its yours. But before that the item is unusable, untradable, unsellable, etc. Yes would be annoying you can't use an item right away but it will prevent a lot of scamming in my opinion. And give people a chance to undo anything with in that 5 min window. The reason I created a separate thread is because this is on page 26 and I posted it in the suggestions forum where I think all suggestions belong.

Fair enough about the separate post. I see what you're saying.

With the items being unusable and untradable that would solve part of the problem, I still think it would be annoying. But as you say, it's a small price to pay for being safeguarded. It's a solution, and if implemented by STS one that we would just have to deal with.

This is an opportunity to get scammed. The Midas Touch AP should maybe only count up the gold the toon gets by themselves. That way, they can receive items like eggs to sell to get the gold. That could count for all the other gold APs.

Scamming is still an issue, but at least gold can't be just randomly scammed as much. I hope that was helpful in anyway for the people mad.

But putting to consideration they are already late for upcoming crafting. maybe when the crafting is sorted out and stable already they will reply to us.
