grim=vanity pet. no more. no less. he looks nice
Is that an attempt to drive prices of Grimm's eggs further down?
it backfired for the people who hoarded them hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha yay
2 weeks, price dropping
2 months later, Price off the charts
For grimms, those who are actually hoarding them, arnt even selling them yet...
The price is dropped bcoz of impatient merches "trying to be pro hoarders" who are panicking...

Since people are liquidating these eggs its a good sign for later on because it means there will be less competition later on. However whether there is demand for Grimm is the big question in my mind. Lets say they come out with a Slag egg. How many people given the choice between Grimm and Slag would buy Grimm? Now I am not saying they will release Slag as an egg, but this is an example. If they come out with another mythic pet egg interest in Grimm may drop if its stats/arcane are better. Not everyone has millions to spend and all of the top spenders already have multiple Grimm eggs. I'm expecting to see more mythic pet eggs bought with plat in the future.
I still have some stuff from the first week of release.

I have to agree to a certain extent, the arcane ability is still lacking. Most days I feel myself regretting that I spent 250 plat when I see Slag in battle.
I think it mostly has to do with the range, it's just too small, it effects too few targets, and the banish happens so little it barely matters at all.
Meanwhile, Slag is nuking the field and stunning everything in sight. I'm just like, "Damn. Why did i buy this thing?!"
I agree, Grimm is a massive disappointment as far as his arcane ability is concerned. Personally I think that if you made his arcane stun equal to that if slag there would be nothing to complain about.
I have slag on my sorcerer and when I capped my warrior I decided against it, knowing full well another pet worth the same amount with the same stats would be out soon enough. I bought Grimm and was initially thrilled, only to discover that other than the stat boost that you receive that's about it. Theoretically he should have been 'the' PVP pet..... Such a shame.
As for the price of grimms falling, it won't last. Those that have the patience and want to earn more back than they spent will make a lot of money in 6 months time. Those that can't wait, will prob make about 50k.
Either way his arcane won't affect the value, because people will still want him cos he looks cool and you still need him to have every pet... Which is important to more people than most realise.

Up the range or increase the chance to Banish (even better) would be really nice. :-)
I actually run a lot of elite maps with Grimm due to his Banish ability alone ( helps with the 50 billion HP pigs :-)) The limited range of the arcane ability forces me to work harder on grouping mobs closely and certainly when to fire it off.
