Better, faster, stronger!?

Is there a bug on this quest with Baldur? It says: 'upgrade a piece of equipment and return to baldur'

I have upgraded one slot to several items now but got nothing from Baldur (can't remember what the reward was anyway).....or does this quest mean i have to FULLY upgrade a piece of equipment (3 gem slots on mythic)?

I have the same problem... I completed filling in three sockets and I still have the quest.

I competed with just one gem inserted, u must have caught a glitch somehow

did you start the quest before you started an upgrade or during the upgrade??

Take the Bound Gem you made in the first quest and put it in an item

but I sold that one. Is there any other way to finish the quest?

Took the bound gem and inserted it into my Gleipner. Cant finish the quest. Baldur has a grayed out question mark above his head. When I click on him it just gives me the do you want information to craft. Yet quest is still in current quest log. Hope that made sense.

I had this issues as well. My problem was that I had started the upgrade before I took the quest. Upgraded again and everything went smoothly.

I did this on 3 characters and none are able to complete the quest. Baldur needs an attitude adjustment, me thinks.

Have now upgraded several items with all 3 kinds of gems and quest is still not working.

It only worked for me if I retrieved the upgraded item via the crafting dialog at Baldur. That was how I got the quest to complete. Try waiting to retrieve your item until you talk to Baldur.
