When is next expansion (lvl 41 cap)?

To me in it seems that the game has been designed around the number of expansions that it currently has. Each class had its own expansion with its own arcane weapons. Mythic gear that is supposed to last two seasons was introduced last season (with the exception of the new weapons). It is hard to see what the next logical step is in the game. I hope that I am wrong. Either way, if there will be another expansion, I don't think it will be for a very long time. The winter festival will have to come first, and that would bring us to at least February. If there is going to be a next expansion, I would also expect the roll out of additional new mythic gear and the addition of another plat generating level (like arena or the elite mines in nordr) before the next expansion. STS has got to make some money after all, and they are going to milk each expansion for as much as they can.

I agree with drgrimmy.

Furthermore I think there will be new rooms/maps without a new level-set, like the circus in PL or, yes, new plat generating venues. There is a lot room for new content, but if you want to keep players happy, you won't see a new level cap too soon. Too much work and plat was involved for a lot of people to get their mythic stuff together. Too many people need to catch up with endgame-level. A lot of the unlucky ones are about to quit. They need to be bound to the game again. And that doesnt mean a new level cap with, again, all the new gear to buy. People are broke right now.

There are lots of other issues too. There are bugs to fix, wich haven't happend in some cases for almost a year.
The new crafting system needs to be tended to as well, maybe expanded too (pet gems would be a nice idea -- but not for additional str/int/dex-buffs but instead for new abilites or making existing ones stronger).
Then there is the economy, wich is in need to be fixed, and STS so far took the right steps in the right direction, but the effects on the economy have to be seen yet, when "the dust has settled" as Carapace (a developer of STS) wrote it. Right now the system is tilted because of the dropping-bug we've seen in the first 24h.

So there are a lot of issues that have to be straightened out before we can move on.

My guess for a new level cap is April.
