yes yes yes. New player (fresh new) cant go to pve map due to too many essences, full inventory. So they probably walking around in town and gave up their day in AL without knowing the reason why they cant go for lvling. I saw this situation by myself.
This is why inventory slots can now be purchased with story tokens and not plat...it is more than fair, there are already too many gems in CS.

I dont agree at all. Think about the new ppl who have no clue y they cant zone to any map becuse they have 25 inventory slots and full of essences . Im pretty sure they dont have enough story tokens to buy 5 slots for,what is it,75 tokens?
It's 25 slots, for 100 tokens... 10 days of playing the game to double your original 25 inventory slots. Seems fair to me.

We are planning for the Tarlok's Wrath content to go live on Monday, Dec. 9th around mid day, Central US Time.
Regarding winter vanities, there will the return of the Winter vanities from last year, with a slightly different dark red color, named the "Winter's Rage" set. There will also be new vanities for each class. The green Arlor set for the Rogue, the Christmas Tree Sorcerer vanity and the Red Arlor vanity set for the Warrior will not return this year.
Here are images of the new vanity sets that will be included in the Tarlok's Wrath content:

The decision to not bring back the other set of Arlor winter vanities was based in part on the fact that we had a good set of new stuff.
We want to set, and maintain, the expectation that anything in the past can be brought back at anytime. That said, we're still aware of the desire for old stuff to stay "unique". We don't always get things right to everyone's taste - but then again, trying to please everyone all the time isn't very realistic.

The ice blades the rogue has in that screenshot are new Legendary Daggers unique to the Winter Content. There are similar "cold" and "ice" weapons for the other classes as well.
Can you show us the Mage and Warrior ones?
dude... you guys told everyone they would be returning. We have proof from your posts. ALOT of people sold theres for cheaper then they should be because they didnt want to lose out on there hard earned money because they would become 100k when there worth millions. All you did now was upset alot of people who just lost out on the items they had saved throughout this year because you guys told us they would be returning. Im honestly so disapointed in your choices lately.

So true... but on the other hand, making promises and not keeping them is an easy way to alienate people. To be honest, this isn't new and isn't the first time. Soon, people will realize that even from the horses mouth isn't good enough. You sell something, you are risking. You buy something, still a risk. No matter what anyone says.
I just feel bad for all the people that were selling their vanities just as the announcement was made. They're all gone now.

I'm sorry, but when someone, anyone, any company, makes a clear statement saying "we/I will do this", I expect that person or company to do what they say, UNCONDITIONALLY, without exception, or change of heart.
I don't mind introducing new vanities. That's wonderful. I do mind being told something for many months, and then being told "Well we like these better(which is an opinion, just like my own) so we just aren't going to do what we promised because we changed our mind"
I made a decision months ago to not spend gold on the Arlors, as I KNEW they were coming back this Christmas because STS said they were. I absolutely LOVE the old Arlor sets. I was very much looking forward to them this Christmas. If I had been told Sts would change their mind, I would have bought them with gold, and enjoyed them all this time.
Again, this is all me, I speak for Noone else.

Sorry that you feel the way you do. It is my fault for not being more clear about the issue.
In reviewing my posts, I don't see anywhere that I guaranteed that any specific thing would be done. I'm pretty careful about that. My previous statements have been to the effect of what I stated earlier in this thread: we reserve the right to bring back any content at any time. That doesn't mean that we will. If people made a leap to believe something - then that is an error on our part for not being clearer in our statements.

and can see how people would interpret that to include all specific vanities. As it is, the design team included the winter outfit and not the others.

The way anyone reads this, their expectations would be, "OH YES, THEY'RE COMING BACK".

Check every sts member post and get back to me. I never said who was saying it. Iirc Carapace would be the one who was very specefic. I appreciate your concern, I'm not personally going to go so far as to check back every sts post over the last year. But if that's what you do, kudos.
At the end of the day, you're saying its like fine print in a loan application. Should I have my lawyer review forum posts to make sure I'm not misreading it?
Soooo many people feel mislead or flat out lied to about this. I've spent the last hour chatting about it in guild, and tells.

It's not a leap to believe something. A dev commented in a thread that last years christmas vanities would be back. If there's an error on ur guys part it's not that the ideas aren't communicated to use well, it's that you failed to communicate internally.
And I know for sure I read it in a thread. I just don't feel like searching through pages and pages to find it. Basically because I didn't have any of these vanities and wasn't affected by it. I'm sure others will do the digging tho. haha.
Sam, I very clearly asked if snowball & arlor vanities would be the same price in plat as there original release in which Carapace responded yes (which confirmed they both would return), there was multiple threads in the general discussion forum asking if arlor vanities would return, if you guys knew that Arlor vanities were not gonna return why didn't you give people a heads up? Personally I don't have, nor ever did have arlor vanitys but I feel bad for the people who sold them who were thinking (& with very good reason) that arlor vanities would return, why don't you guys just re-release them & save the rage comments/threads that will be popping up & just make the vanities return, idt anyone would care if the price was higher in platnium then the orginal release, plz take this into consideration, Thanks

There are "old" vanities coming back - the Winter Clothes (for lack of a better way to describe that set). What changed is that not all of the 2012 vanities are returning. Again, my apologies for not having previously messaged that with crystal clarity.
You're speaking pretty well for me, too. I've been waiting to be able to buy some arlor gear because we were told it would be brought back. It's just a game so I'm not crushed but I am annoyed and it's acts like this that have made me want to log in less and less often.
