"cannot connect to server"

Hello, I have been playing for a few weeks now with no issue, this includes playing after the patch. Went to log in this evening and I can't because apparently I have no internet connection, but i most certainly do concidering I'm posting this on my iPod. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?

If on ios4 or higher, it's possible you may need to kill the app and launch it again - double-tap home, long press on the PL icon and tap the minus.
