    Default Level cap

Is there currently a level cap?
My understanding it that the content only goes up to about level 25; I gather from that you could possibly hit 28 then? (You stop gaining xp once your 3 levels above your target I've read somewhere).

There's an implicit level cap at 13 because we stop awarding experience if you only play the dungeons for levels 1-10. However, there is an explicit level cap at 25.

So to keep leveling you need to buy next level pack?

That is correct. Each level pack offers new dungeons, mobs, bosses and loot for a particular range of levels. Dark Forest is 10-15, Balefort Castle is 15-20, and Fathom Crypts is 20-25.

Next week we will release The Lost Expedition which covers 25 - 30. It takes place in a whole new environment (frozen forest and ice caves). Moving forward from here, the majority of new content offerings will be in new locations.

Bubble, you have to play in the specific campaigns. Dark Forest has level 10-15 mobs which will give you xp to level through that range, and so on for the others.

So you could say it is like the console game Borderlands in that in order to actually gain more levels, you would have to be forced to buy a DLC, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but what if you just wanted to play and keep leveling up and up and up to create a super character?

Thanks for clearing that up and great news about the additional content. I think it's more then reasonable to expect players to pay for the additional dungeons if they enjoy the game. SS are running the servers 24/7 without a subscription based service so they need to make money somehow.

The $1.99 they're asking for each dungeon is more than fair, most items are at the $1 price point anyway.

And yeah.. If you have an iPhone, you can afford the dungeons when the time comes.

although $1.99 is not a bad price, $1.99 for a few levels with plans to release many more maps adds up. i also think that the price should be lowered/more should be released with each purchase.

We're looking into ways to augment the existing content that you have already purchased when we release new content. Bottom line is that we want you to feel you are getting great value for your money.
