Grimm could be a good pet in terms of its abilities and price (about 650k in auc.) or you could get talon for 1m+
But if you can afford arcane pets I suggest you buy Glacian. Cause of its mana restoration
or you could also buy Samael. He's the best pet overall

Samael, Talon, and Malison.
Ribbit has the best damage. Trust me it does! Due to it's arcane abilty and it's low cool timer. You can crit high in such a short amount of time..

Samael. Arcane pets have the highest damage by default, but his poison makes him do more.
Tack on that he gives 25 main stat, 10% damage and crit, and that he has an amazing green aura that restores health and mana easily makes him the best pet in the game.
what about hammerjaw and his +10% Damage, +10 To Primary Stat, +10 STR, +10 DEX, +10 INT, and +6 Mana Regen vs samael +25 to Primary Stat, +10% Damage, +10% Crit, +10 INT and +100 Health. Hammerjaw has the +10 STR, +10 DEX, +10 INT but samael has the extra 25 primary stat against hammerjaws 10 primary stat. So what I'm thinking is what does primary stat mean and why is it better then hammerjaws +10 STR, +10 DEX, +10 INT? Or does hammerjaw really have better damage for rogue then samael? Thx guys btw I'm just trying to calculating damage vs damage for rogue not taking in any consideration from other bonuses.
Samael would be better..better stats - 5 extra dex and 10% crit. Hammerjaw ability is nice but Samael can stun and do poison damage. All 26 use glacian..idk why.

Also best damage pet is talon. Highest dex and damage a % boost. However, it's not good in terms of durability

Well talon gives low health and mana. I've used talon against rogues and after gem update get 1 combo'ed every time if the rogue crits aimed.
By best damage pet do you mean the pet that gives the most damage? Technically it's whim brothers but its arcane is so bad that it's not even an option. Other than the damage it gives no health and 10 INT just like samael. If you meant that pet that deals the most damage itself, it's samael because of its poison DOT.
Samael is definitely the best pet IMO..+10% crit AND 10% damage, not one or the other, 25 dex, 100 health and 100 mana, it's arcane is totally OP and stuns almost every time (like 90%), and its passive can stun too...can't get better than that.
Samael certainly isn't necessary..last time I was in arena no one had it.
IMO you should use slag for your pet now that you can buy the egg. It's like a mini samael - same arcane ability, just toned down stats. It's the best mythic pet for rogue and is WAY cheaper than samael.
