Why was Daily Reward Taken Away?

Just wanted to know as at the beginning their used to be a daily reward system which gave 1k Gold+ Elixir.
Why was it taken away

Happened to me too. I had 1.25 elixir that I got as a blessing last night. Woke up to no elixir this morning. Not sure what to think.

Elixirs looted from (forgot there names) run even if you're offline.

I'm assuming many people exploited the 1k.

Yeah, what the original poster was referring to was in in the beginning of AL, it was a daily reward system where if you logged on each day you'd receive 1k gold and an elixer. It was done away with in favor of the shazbot and kraas chests that you now receive. Any elixer that you receive from klaas or shazbot will time down regardless of whether you're online, in a town, etc.
