buying platinum on ipod

My brother has this game on his ipod touch and it works good but he doesnt have a credit card to add to his itunes account so i was going to use $5 from my credit card to buy him 30 platinum. is there any way to buy platinum on an ipod touch without needing a credit card added to the itunes account? and without having to buy an itunes card from the store? on my droid i was able to buy platinum directly from the site using the droid. is there any way to buy platinum from the website either on the ipod touch or on the computer?

When purchasing from the website, you specify the Pocket Legends account you want the platinum credited to.
