New Arcane Egg will NOT be in crates post-event

No i didn't quote having issues with that atm. If you don't believe me go to the announcements forum, open the thread concerning the "Winter Content is now Live!!" and there it is.

Pet Eggs have been added to Locked Grand Crates of the watch that will only have a chance of dropping during the Tarlok's Wrath event Dec 9 to Jan 6. These may rarely drop when opening a Locked Crate:

• Mythic rarity pet eggs: Slag, Ripmaw and Abbadon

Exactly. It's not lame, there's a month to be able to loot these things, if they were permanent then I believe that the market would get flooded with all the mythic pets, and The Brothers Whim wouldn't be able to be considered "Arcane" except for the stats, since everyone would be opening them and they wouldn't be exclusive. I'm glad that they're doing this, just like every other time... I don't get why you'd be thinking that it's lame.

This is not to say they couldn't be brought back at any time. Its good that its a limited time thing but don't be too surprised if you see one brought back.

Firstly, I'm only speaking about the arcane pet.

Second, every other arcane egg, is always in crates. This helps keep the price within reason imo.

Third, multiple people I know have acted as if it wasn't confirmed because they hadn't read the post carefully, I'm simply trying to point it out for them, and any others who may be confused, logic suggests where there's one, there's probably others.....Duh.

Fourth, I fully expect them to return..all temporary pets do

Having it only be in crates temporarily is lame, IMHO. Everyone else is certainly entitled to their own

Although frankly, I've reconsidered my position. I THINK, and this is shearly speculation, that the droprate on the whim egg is more comparable to hammerjaw, than samael. Meaning it SEEMS higher than the latest and greatest arcane pet normally would be.. If that's the case, it may be to offset the fact its only in crates temporarily. That said, I'm changing my opinion to the other side, and don't think its a bad thing any more. My change of opinion is based on theory, lol...
