It didnt effect pve that much, but bear is still very tanky, mage is pretty gud and bird puts out good dmg but is very squishy

Fox is 2x worse at pve than other classes due to little aoe skills or combos. Rhinos just bad in general for pve, only useful aoe skill is tempest, other 3 attacks are almost useless in pve.

Fox has got a good amount of damage output, and rhino can tank fairly well if played correctly. Maybe you should just try all of them and decide for yourself.

This. A fox and rhino can be amazing if played well; I've seen some very good ones in both PvP and PvE.

What level did you get your full dex bird to? I've noticed that there is a sort of cut-off around level 50 where full dex birds stop having as many mana problems.

Every claas is mana hungry but those mana problems begin to vanish as u lvl up. Intbird is not a good idea in general because it offers just better mana (which isn't a problem in end game) and dex increases regular damage and skill damage for birds.

As birds are intended to be damage dealers, maxing the damage is the only thing which should matter and therefore I would advice u to go pure dex.

I don't understand where this false assumption that fox would have crappy aoe damage output comes from. Foxes can actually deal pretty competent aoe damage with poison needles (180° cone) and fox howl. Plus they debuff movement, h/s and damage.

Int bird is not great for pve due to low damage, and also Ceyrinn is right. Once you hit about lvl 50 there are sets and items that give you good mana regen and high damage

Bear is the best in general. Rhino is really good in endgame pvp.
