Returning Player with some Questions

Hey Community,
I finally decided to come back. Some of you guys may still know me, but i already seen a lot of my old friends quit.
And right when i joined back in I had a few questions i wanted to ask.
1. I was told that old winter items rarely drop in this event ( not gonna test it since i dont appreciate spacetimes plat per run stuff)
2. What (or why) was the forgotten Event again? Will it return? And why is forgotten stuff so expensive now?!

1. 2010 stuff doesn't drop, but 2011 stuff drops. Just like last year, if you were around then.

2. Forgotten event was event back in 2012. Players were able to loot forgotten gear and there was some vanity for sale in store. Those forgotten items (mainly bows) were superhyperduper overpowered and discontinued, so of course their price increased gradually. Few months ago they were nerfed drastically, but their liquidation prices were increased to super high values. People had hated them a lot, so many players wanted to delete them and get their millions. Now they are very rare yet still decent in pvp and op in pve, so of course their prices are high and increasing

Most likely the forgotten event isn't coming back.

1) all winter fest items are recycled with a mix of the previous years. 2010 Xmas rarely drops in the lower twink levels

2)the forgotten event was for farming fragx to get forg items. They were later nerfed for being too op and the liquidation values were set high, so they're going for lots now since not many use anymore. I don't see it coming back anytime soon.
