All seriousness, int mages aren't the best anymore, since savage mages are superior to them. They can be good in CTF though..
Ghost is good, Angeldawn is good, Istaff is too, just a few I know.

As for a pure mage in CTF, in my opinion they are the best. Our lack of dodge is made up by our high damage, and with a bear tanking, we can drop all 3 opponents with the right combo.

As for 1v1, it is a little harder, but, INT Mage can still rain supreme.

As Ghost said, pally vs mage should be a no brainer!

I used to think mages were underpowered too much to compare with the other classes, then i tried something besides just running straight in to nuke. It does a lot better :P

Int mage beats pally if the pally doesnt get so lucky all the time birds are easy peasy just need to be very accurate and fast, and a tad of luck, our skills may delay but we have a MS and a heal button to help it so use it.. bears on the other hand.. well bloody oath they're mofos but I reckon POSSIBLY debuff build, or all dmg debuffs to debuff the bear..
