My memory is fuzzy but I might be completely wrong. People thought volcano helm was ugly and sts gave out monarch helm instead.

It was the origional award for capping at 71, but a lot of us made fun of it, so it was quickly changed to the monarch helm you more commonly see mentioned in Necroreapers stickied thread.
the very few who capped before the forum jokes retained the "volconut" as it was known on forums then. Then again some acc that have them have been bought by *cough* some famous acc buyers stil active in game today.
maybe *cough* a known gm
