What is JFKK doing on this list?
Over that tine I was at 71 my kdr went from ~2000/4000 to ~6000/6000 and is now ~7500/7000
So in the past year (or so) my KDA is 1.83, yet it was ~2.00 during my prime time and only ~1.50 in recent times (when I was 76 and reached a positive kdr). My lifetime kdr isn't near either of those, so it's safe to say that kdr isn't a very accurate portrayal of ones main skill level (which could be given by a smurf or twink).
In some cases, though, the stats can lie easily. After major balances and nerfs, you can see a distinct difference in your kd. In AL, my main Rogue had reached a 81-2 KD within the first few days/weeks of the PvP release, but when gear became more powerful and pvp statistics changed, my kd went to ~189-92.
The true way to know if a person is good or not from KDR is the rate of change at which the KD increases. A steady increase means consistency and adaptation towards updates revolving stats and gear. KDR increasing exponentially could indicate either extreme success in combat or cheating (spawning, botting, stat hacking, etc.).
In conclusion, KDR can mean something, but change in KD means so much more.

Well I think we're the same. My kdr is also negative before but after I got my set I became positive kdr in a short time.
