Let's compare trollbane to pitsword,
There is no difference.
Devourer is cheap. And isnt much worse than the best. Unless u r rich get devourer or storm sword.

Just depends on ur money. Devourer with 2 gems is cheap. I havent compared it to troll though. I prefer storm sword on my lvl 15

Some items r extremely over priced. With ribbit I dont like the 100 percent crit proc. If u have abadon or samael then maybe mighty vorpal. But besides that id go with devourer or storm sword
Take price out of the equation please. Base your decision on performance only.

Price out. I dont like 100 percent crit buff. Id rather 25 str at lvl 15

anyway personally i prefer devourer maul, because it gives more permanent damage than trollbane (I AM NOT SURE THOUGH).
I prefer something permanent than a fire proc, not to talk of the fact devourer proc is also beasty add it up with vengeful blood and nobody can beat my twink.

I can tell you that the trollbane proc frequency is insane. In mobs I've proc'd in 3 consecutive swings numerous times.

In a overall timeline it is the same as devourer their proc is balanced. Sometimes i just hit norm attack three times(few times just once ) before fighting and bam dev maul proc.
Off topic:
I defeated my twink gm with a devourer maul and he is a fanatic of trollbanes so i don't have a high consideration of the banes.

On my lvl 15 for a long time, I use troll pot(2 rage gems), dev pot(2 super blood gems), mig vorp(1 super rage gem).
Troll proc do activate a lot but seriously im still wondering if the dmg added is worth anything.
I just keep it for the show or random farming most of time cause I like the flames. Im at 120 dmg/dps.
With maul im at 130 dmg/100 dps and my vorp 120 dmg/135 dps if im not wrong.
I prefer using them for pvp or serious farming.
The last time I test pvp with troll pot was pre gem.
My partner said "lol" to the add dmg or "what the proc is suppose to do".
The other 2h weapons are just better at their proc with +str, + dodge or higher dps.
