Well first thing first.solve your empathy and compassion issue that leads you to give others your gold coz they asked.you have a choice.there's ignore button specifically to give you the tool to make proper decision for yourself.

It's not like someone who is hungry and homeless on the side of the street asking for some money to eat dinner. This is a game, and nobody needs more money. The best thing you can do for them is to tell them how they can earn some money, perhaps by doing some daily quests or something similar.
