Why.... Would you wanna read japanese subs while watching a show, you have ears, or can you hear? Id hate to try and watch a movie and read what theyre saying even though you could just listen to what they're saying

I agree I hate having to constantly stare at the screen so I don't to miss anything.

Annoying when you can't do something else while watching.

I prefer dub because of those very reasons, plus the subtitles distract me too much and i miss stuff that happens a lot, I hate that

I like sub when the characters of the anime have japanese name such as Ichigo of Bleach, Kirito of SAO and i like dub when the characters have western name like Lucy Heartfilia of Fairy Tail and Erwin Smith of AOT because western name is weird to pronounce in japanese language.

well guys i think it depends on how much reading speed you have...coz all this time i have watched subs and i have never felt that i missed something. English and other languages makes it seem so fake with all the fake emotions and dialgouges lol

I have ears, to listen to their voices, and I can understand what they're saying, and watching what they're doing. Maybe you like reading books and stuff or whatever, that's why you like reading subs. Even with subs if I get so into the movie I don't even notice the subs, depends... Depends..
