    Default [GUIDE] Guild Guide

    Hello dear players!

this is a "how to build a guild" Guide.

    Step 1: Guild Master

You can buy guild or be the master of an other guild by promotion (go to step 3 if the guild is kind of big >30 members). A guild charter can be bought at the guild section of the friendlist. Click on "Browse guild halls" and choose the guild tier:

    Step 2: Getting Started

Do not expect to have a guild with 600 members at the beginning. You'll be the only one in the guild, the guild master (GM). Now, the best thing to do is to join runs and start inviting people to your guild. At about 25 guild members you can start making some officers.

Officer is not a rank, its a duty. Officers are like the moderators of your guild, they do their best to be sure that the rules are applied in the guild. Choose them wisely.

    ===Notice===

Be very careful who you promote to officer, no matter what style guild you choose to build.

Officers have the power to remove members - all the members except other officers. If someone decides they want revenge after an argument, or they came into the guild with that intent, they have the ability to empty your guild list while you (the GM) are offline. This happened to a major guild a few months ago - it can happen to any guild unless the gm knows each officer personally and is absolutely sure they are trustworthy. There's no 100% - this is the internet - and that means it's better to think a bit more, rather than gamble your team's time and efforts away just to pat someone on the back.
Most of the guild have these rules:

    - No begging on the Guild Chat (GC)
    - No selling/buying/trading on the GC
    - No guild hoppers (people who hop from guild to guild)
    - Requirement for Recruiter is level 25
    - Requirements for Officer is level 35, must help lower leveled player and must be nice to others and promote helping...+special requirements

These rules can change from a guild to an other. These are very general and your guild rules are the ones you impose!
To help you decide what type of guild you are building: http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...ild-your-guild!

    Step 3: Growing up

Now that you have some officers and your guld is about 35 members, keep recruiting and promote capping. The key in building a guild is to keep it active. You must always be available to members and help the lower. If you don't they'll leave for other guilds. In order to grow up, you must be active and recruit active players too. Create friendship with other players. Find loyal members and promote them to the officer rank: it is very good because they are the ones who will help you to grow up faster.

    Step 4: Thats it!

Now that you own a kind of big guild, you can create events and tournaments. Award the winners! This will make your guild members stay!. New player will like it and they'll stay! They will like you a lot and there you go!

One last thing, guild dramas. Be aware of that because you'll have to be the judge in these kind of troubles. Listen to everyone and not only your friend or the guy you like the most. Do what you have to do. Sometimes, some members will try to scam other guild members. Scammers are dangerous and you must remove them.

    GOOD LUCK!

Just a word of advice about one statement in this guide.

You never know what you can do until you try
There are two ways of doing something: right, and again.
