    Default Crossbows

Hi everybody, I am a new player on Android who just started with an Archer about a week ago. I'm up to 22 so far, and having a blast playing this game. The only problem I really have is that whenever I find a crossbow, the DPS (damage per second, right?) goes wayyyy down to the point where it doesn't make sense to use it at all. Is there some sort of hidden strength to xbows I'm missing, or they just not useful? Also, any tricks for the Goblin King??? That guy murders me everytime. Thanks for the help and advice.

Crossbows have higher min/max damage ranges than bows/talon/daggers of the same level. When you take on something that has armor, the higher max damage allows you to hit past the armor and do damage, regardless of the DPS. However, Archers have "Break Armor" so you can still do damage with lower damage ranges.

Assuming you are trying to solo Goblin King, it's the goblin suicide bombers that spawn and chase you down that one-shot you. I "kite" Goblin King in circles and use Break Armor and Blinding Shot on the Goblin King. I save Shattering Scream/Blast Shot for hitting the goblin suicide bombers before they hit me.

I think crossbows also have longer range than other bows.

As for me, I'm generally more interested in M/S rate than anything else. I'll sacrifice a few DPS if it means being able to spam skills more often.
