Poem Titled "Delphina"
Delphina
From the dimensions of shuyal,
to the lands of the dead.
An eerie feeling was awaken,
and it raised its sour head.
Trolls rose from the abyss,
flamers fell from the sun.
The universe usurped in chaos,
the game was no fun.
A completely chaotic world,
with such feelings of disarray.
There was no such order,
Only death and decay.
Inappropriate words were spoken,
all loud and offensive.
Curse words were thrown in the air,
flamers acting defensive.
Old jokes appeared more than new,
intelligence was a deficit.
Comebacks were hideous,
it wasnt fun, was it?
The gods had enough,
they became outraged.
These ignorant mortals,
they had to be disengaged.
Along came a goddess,
so elegant and pure.
With a few flicks of her wrist,
finally, there was a cure.
Her beauty devoured the land,
her intelligence educated us.
In her wake, the trolls were killed,
The flamers were turned to dust.
Light came to the land,
hope was restored.
Delphina was her name,
in memory, forever stored.
She brought happiness to everyone,
she made the game fair.
Leaving sparkles where she stood,
for everyone, she cared.
She made contests and games,
for all to enjoy.
And chose winners randomly,
with prizes to deploy.
The world was happy,
it was filled with love.
Her efforts were felt,
from the heavens above.
Suddenly, she left,
without a goodbye.
Everyone was shocked,
and let out a sigh.
Sadness swept the land,
the goddess was gone.
Everyone began to cry,
they began to feel alone.
Our beloved goddess,
now left in our memories.
With nostalgia,
shrouding our sensories.
She is greatly missed,
she made us happy.
Now she's moved on,
now we feel crappy.
Delphina! We love you,
May you enjoy the rest of your days.
You were a great moderator,
your next employer will craze
