What is the point of a Dragonite Bar?

OK we all know the obvious answer, which, let's face it, unless you are incredibly lucky, or have a spare 75 to 80 mil knocking about, isn't going to happen.

So any ideas?

It will come in waves. The first couple of weeks after the expansion there were no bars, but now with having double odds teeth weekend, tons of bars around. Once those all get used up the price will probably go back up as it will take players some more time to craft a second one.

Also, wait until we have new mythics or a "double odds" crate weekend. Then tons of people will open crates and there will be way more shards and not enough bars to craft them all.
