Make Platinum Tradable

I understand why gold isn't tradable, goldfarmers.
That's fine with me.
But platinum?
I don't think farmers would waste there time with buying 800 for $50
then resale...
That would be sad.
But I have friends that want to play the expansion but don't have the money.
Just a thought I wish it was possible.

Excuse me but platnium, platnium is bought with your own money if you are that desprate to give away plat log on your friends account and buy him some but gold should be tradable If u din not notice past 2 updates lower drop rates so hard to gold farm devs if reading keep drops low thank you I rest my case.

Gold will be trade-able in the next version

Platinum will not be trade-able because the devs do not want to encourage gold farmers.

The reason why platinum wont be tradeable is that people will start buying and selling platinum. So people will need gold.
So since there is a need for gold, gold farmers will come. They will sell people gold at a cheap price, so these people can go buy platinum with their cheap gold.

Because I know how to and where to go.
I have only 86k right now but I made 50k in 2 hours 2 days ago.
Use your head and read patch notes.
You'll understand how the new drop patch encourage insane gold gains.

Give your friends five bucks, and tell them to buy their own Platinum. Real-life money can be given & traded without any help from the Devs.

Seriously, though, I disagree with the suggestion. Think about all of the scamming that we have now. If Platinum trading was possible, it would be much much worse.

This cannot happen. Gold would remain useless and without value, and the only tradable currency would be platinum. Real money would determine trading power between players in game, and Spacetime would make less money because a few players would purchase platinum. Instead a minority would purchase platinum discounted on bulk, and spread it through the system.



@splurd: Gold farmers (ie people who sell gold for cash) will never be a problem in this game.
