Ugly vanities suddenly start seeming awesome, usually a few months later (Steel vanities, S2. Tree vanity for god's sake).

what about upgrading arcane? i remember u told it would be possible. think will be good to upgrade hooks and use them at lvl 41. they are ARCAnE. so will be unfair to leave them in past. IMHO

Upgrading wouldnt be fair against other arcane weapons which then will be weaker again

They were and are still the best weapon for their respective level. Its not "leave them in the past", it had its glory day and now its time for something new, rather than use the old same weapon for 2 years.
And learning from the mythic armor/helmet I think STS has known how bad it would be thus making it the worst decision ever. I dont think they will let us upgrade something and use it for a year, again.

it would be better if all arcane weapons will have a upgraded when the player is at level 41. just like in mythic armor and helm. and it will be equal for all, 'cause if you boost the arcane hooks it will be op for the level 26 twinks.

I PM a dev a week ago asking if anything would happen to hooks just a hint before I sell them and lose a lot of gold.
5 days later no reply so I sold and then this comes!!!

those vanities look quite nice, abit under rated but i still think a black version of that vanity set wouldve looked nicer
