Normally 1700 plat equals 500k virtual gold bullion. Love being captain obvious.
But I am guessing come just after the weekend, ppl will be undercutting themselves stupid trying to flog him in the auction. For gold I reckon that'd be the best time to buy him.
If you have over 500 platinum, buy two, sell them for a total of 1.3m then buy one for 550k gold during next week.
If you have just around 250-300 platinum, keep your plat and buy with gold.
Ripmaw's not worth the gold for rogue IMO though.
Slag's not gonna be around for a looooong time --you can probably get the platinum needed for him through free offers by then.
