Root Kill Equals No Kill?

When I root kill someone in pvp I don't get the kill. This happens pretty rarely but I could have 10+ more kills and game scores are thrown off.

Yeah this happens to me all the time, try using thorn root first and try not to use it again unless his running away

You do get the kill, most times. The instances that you don't get the kill it is due to bleed proc. Bleed proc, which is what blast shot, daggers, shivs, some bows, and thorn root/wall has, gives added delayed damage. In pvp and in pve, if bleed proc kills the opponent, no kill I'd rewarded.
