It was a Macedonian library filled with scrolls. Papyrus scrolls specifically since that was the common form of paperin the Mediterranean world (most was also made in Egypt which is the relative country [by today's maps] that Alexandria was in). Therefore, there were no words in any books that were in the library of Alexandria.
