3! Nothing beats PvPing in epics trying your best to protect your flag until the arcane hooks & mythic helm rogues walk over you.

2nd? I prefer s4, because that was when I started becoming good. That season was fun, got about 2-3k kills in there which, considering I was non-mythic with Champions' gear, was pretty darn good.

3rd was s5 beginning & the ctf matches towards the end. That's where I got all my kills

Whatever season PvP was released ofc! I haven't played PvP since then, knowing I'm totally out-geared by those Mythic Peeps. It Was fun Because I was online when the update came out, so I probably was one of the first people to play it......that's not the issue though, i got 100 kills on that same week. I only had a Mighty Berserker Set, rusty amulets and rings, and a Vorpal Sword.

season2-3 that was the "Golden Age" of PVP 10.. you would come in a room and all you see is low geared people everywhere.

Pvp was fresh. Everyone played it. Everyone had top gear so it was not a gear issue and best gear was farmable through jarl. People played ctf and not free flags.

Now there is only 1 to 2 ctf rooms going with free flaggers usually. Split gear levels and less people play properly.

2 and 3 I twinked, it was great.
4 I went endgame and PvP was good.

5-6? Gear difference was too immense to enjoy it to its fullest, but I still find it okay.

Season 2.
Pvp was fresh. Everyone played it. Everyone had top gear so it was not a gear issue and best gear was farmable through jarl. People played ctf and not free flags.

Season 2 was amazing. There was no "one pet" that you "must" use if you wanted any chance at all. Players had the option to get creative. We spent hours testing pets and how their effects stacked, in order to work out effective strategies against various opponents. People needed skills, not just gear. It was still real then.

Sam effectively ruined a large part of the game, by being so OP that it's now basically "use sam or be farmed with no chance of survival". Where's the game in that? Now arcane rings are the next Sam...pay to win.
