Is shadowlurk worth it for a mage toon? I looted one a couple of days ago and don't know if I should use him or sell him. Please advice me.

Mage is better use colton, orion, clyde and malison.
Even the new pet for mage is not shadowlurk, but scorn.

Looted from Elite Caves. Only place you can as far as I know. Right now I use Orion, Ethyl, Clyde and Colton mainly. Have Scorn as well but that AA, ouch. I'd love to see a couple more opinions.

I use shadowlurk with my mage. Its okay I love the critical it gives me and the rogues I party with. No complains here

He works well and will me better now that he is fixed to work as intended. I use him a lot.

Shadow is a pretty good pet for a nuking mage, since it doesn't add any STR. Its +20% damage at 20% crit (on AA) is pretty darn good if you have 3 attack skills though, just sayin'.

20% damage and 20% crit vs 20% damage and 20% armor loss? meh
Why would we not choose 20% crit and not lose any armor over just 15 int in happiness? Lmao. If I see my guild mate using scorn in elite, I will just complete that run for courtesy, and never run with them again, just letting you know.

It was buffed a week ago, pretty good pet. Obviously better than scorn, scorn is the pet for pvp blockers.
