After months of waiting we come to find that it's a pay to win event I was excited to start playing again and thought this would be better than the previous tarlok event but it turned out worse :/ the entire energy system( 1 energy to join a portal) is for plat buyers. I know this is the first event using this client so I won't complain much about the specifics but I really hope that the next event will not need energy (plat) to enter portals because many people are giving up because it's impossible to get on lbs without buying plat or filthy rich

Although I'm rich I realized that spending 15k for 1 energy is a waste of gold. By the time I get enough tokens to buy something I would have spent millions on energy balls? Unless I invested all of my gold to buy energy I would have no chance for lbs and winning the arcane shard. This event is making the rich richer and the poor poorer. I can guarantee that the #1 person on lb to win the goblin contest and arcane shard already has 100mil+ gold (Rich gets richer) I would suggest making energy balls cost 1k each instead of 5 plat next time to make it more fun other than that it's good for the first event but making events pay to win is bad...very bad.

I agree with all of this. They should make that you get one energy ball per 2 hours and 3 balls is max. This would keep ppl playing...

Coming from a person with 300m+ but think about the average players with under 10m, 15k is allot to pay just to enter a portal then get crap loot.

Lol are you kidding not to make myself in your bad side but...your very rich...I mean some of the players here can't even spend 10k or 15k because its hard to make gold and players are trying to buy those gear that they really need not the ones that they well never make it in lb

Most people buy some plat, not everyone is a whale. I know that I have paid enough to keep a subscription going for any game out. So I will complain when I do support STS, and in return I get an event that wants me to pay 100's of dollars and not sleep for days to be on a leader board.

Coming from someone who is pretty much the richest in the game.. This event is made for people who have alot of money to spend and people who buy plat. Lets take away all your money and then see how you feel about event then, and then maybe you will see where people is coming from...imo i could care a less about this event..just another event for the rich to get richer in.

Tbh, i dont think the price is too bad EITHER, and the most gold i have ever had on hand is 1,3 millions.

Coming from a plat user and a heavy PvEr, this event is too geared towards Pay 2 Play. I threw in about 200 Plat during this event, but decided to stop and not waste anymore. You literally have to do this for 6 days and not take a break. Go eat something and come back to be overtaken by at least 1K in points. Totally not even worth the effort.

And I'm sure Shady & Surge is going to be rewarded the SAME way during the Ursolth Event. This event is nothing but a big disappointment. I'm better off rage crating my plat.
