Drain life with mana shield

Any chance that when you have mana shiekd activated and you use the skill drain life, rather than taking the enemies life and investing it in your own, can you have it invest into your mana pool? Only when you have shield activated. I think it makes more sense, and would be nicer. Thanks

That seems a good idea but having both is kinda cheap when your going vs easy enemies... come on... games need to have a challenge right? Otherwise it's boring just going through the game under 30 minutes... I mean really...

How would it make it a whole lot easier? It makes more sense, because with mana shield activated, if you have mana, and half health, you can heal yourself, using mana, then life drain only serves a purpose as damage, and the heal goes to waste, it'd be more efficient.
