My build is 5 heal 6 bom 6 lightning 1 blizzard 1 fire. It tends to work great vs bears. With rhinos just outlast them in terms of mana. And with mages spam lightning

Due to the fact that your not a dex mage drain usually doesnt do much for you
If you are willing to go to 22. i have a build for you. I am also a tank mage (22) and i feel your pain :P
I have spent over 500 plat adjusting my build to perfection.

As you can tell, this is not a light heavy build... however, this is a very versatile tank gear setup with a very nuking skill hit (6 bom and 6bov)
I usually can nuke bears 15-22 in 1 round.
Foxes are also easy...
For mages, the tank mage has the upperhand due to more mana.
This build is the ultimate best!
When buffed i have 120 armour and 50 crit. Pretty good
