old question, damage or dps?

i reach level 30 and i already bought a devorer maul level 31 cheaper than average market, but i found some weapons for 31 with a great boost in dps but less damage, i still and after reading several topics cant find whats better... i dont play pvp since i die all the times, i prefer to pve, i dont have real friends in game (lots of friends but noone i play regularly) so i found very hard to unlock bosses, what do u suggest me? (i started shyal since my guild help me unlocking nordr bosses otherwise i was still stuck there)

i also use druid potency instead of will (found great deals for 50k for both helmet and armour and regulary price is at 90k or more sometimes

If you ask me i go for Damage until you reach max level, in that way you will kill and PVE much faster.

Then...

When you are at max level, you will decide whether you wanna be a tank ( main warrior role - HP and Armor ) or you wanna stick to damage/dps build.
