He's right I think it is would be unfair to the people who were at the event. The flamethrower is just like a napalm. There are 4 types of napalms: Bio Napalm, Fused Napalm, Dark Matter Napalm, and Prime Napalm. I listed the napalms in order; Cheapest to most expensive. Bio napalm is around 500-550k. Fused napalm I'm not 100% sure but goes for 650-700?(comment if I'm wrong) Dark Matter napalm is around 900-950. Prime napalms is 1.5-1.7 (varies on seller). Instead of buying a napalm with credits you could farm a napalm at hive. You seem to have plat (mentioned in thread title). If you want to farm hive you want to have lixer (I prefer x4 lixer) so chances of a napalm to drop increases. I prefer to have a napalm so it won't take as long to finish the level. I can predict you don't have a napalm. So, you maybe could ask a friend who has a napalm if He/she want to farm with you. I have two flamethrowers, and ima say that the flamethrower is HIGHLY impractical to use for farming and especially pvp, it's good as a twink weapon and to show around, but that's where it ends lol

Of course the flamethrower isn't as good as the napalm. But, I mean the flamethrower is good for people who don't have the credits to buy a napalm. The flamethrower has AOE but not as strong as a normal napalm. I agree to zodiarck that the flamethrower isn't very good for farming but I will say it is good to farm low lvl enemies.

It's good at lower levels cus I saw a level 5 twink with it and I got owned lol but when it scales higher like level 40 in the napalm range, you are correct it's not viable at all Rolf it's mainly to show that you have defeated the hive in the event

Now I'm not 100% sure if napalm is better than the flamethrower in pvp because me and my friend tested the damage Bo weapons level 40, and without spells used I defeated him but the damage was very close. My friend was an operative, and I was a commando. But, I think if skills are used, I'm sure napalm packs a larger punch in an actual fight because it is quicker. However, I don't think the overall dps is correct for the hive flamethrower. I'll have to experiment later with it, but it seems it is great for commandos who are stacked with defense and stamina. So far though, napalm still remains best and it is a pink item compared to the flamethrowers blue quality and napalm has superior stats

Well commando ihas more amor, health, strength than an operative. But in my opinion I still think napalms are definitely better than a flamethrower. Flamethrower is just for fun to just joke around I guess :-)

don't see why it should be a problem as long as the price is always more than the event price for sci fi vanities, flamethrower, avengers stuff, or intro price for R.I.V.E.T.
