Yup. Worst jokes or trash talk topic imo. Don't turn your disrespect for your own family into disrespect for others' families.

My distaste to ridiculing family is due to the lack of knowledge I have of the victim's (vistim is the correct word with this humor) family life. It is very easy to hit a nerve, or worse, end up saying something that ends up being true. Best to avoid such thin ice.
