New Event Gear Comparison and Discussion.

First off, I only have the warrior upgraded mythic. Additionally, I know that I can't add additional photos to an OP without invalidating all my previous attachments. But, if you provide the mage and rogue equivalents of the new gear, upgraded mythic set, and best magma gear I will post your post number in the OP so that people can quickly reference those as well.

Analysis:

I am going to start with the plates. The mythic will still have more damge and the magma of will more armor. The new gear will only be competing with magma assault as far as plates go. Hard to tell what the real stats will be as far as damage goes but we know the spirit plate is the better of the two.

Now for the frightening part.

The durid helm has 314 more armor than the magma will helm for the sacrafice of 258 HP. Are you kidding me? Yes, you give up massive damage but as for tanking helms that destroys the magma helm's value. Mythic helms are safe as far as damage goes, but that is the only saving grace.

The spirit helm is slightly more armor than myth but less than the magma will it is a damage helm but lesser than myth. As with the plates, this only affects the price of magma assault gear.

My current gear + bulwark + druid helm = 2935 armor (+/-1) without a pet.

May be a little OP.

I hope Druid helm is a glitch...1105 armor is on par with magma armors, which IMO is not right at all.

New gear has over time healing (talisman) so warriors have healing factor too (even stronger with Samael's passive) O_o

It's amazing how the helm and armor alone give 2.3k armor. These will be amazing for elite runs but it'll look like you'll have to spec 5/5 jugg since the damage will be low.

Only the first upgrade in Jugg (2/5) affects damage intake and it is 20% damage reduction. This won't be quite that strong but the extra HP may help cover that.

Godly tanks will have around 7.5k HP and 3k armor. While maintaining 400+ DPS o_O

Read over the "to" (long day). I have taunt in Jugg just to silence the obnoxious "change your spec" PMs. It is just as useless as I remember. But if it only costs 5 Dex, ehh, why not?

I sincerely hope it's a bug. I really don't want to run Corridor only to get a warrior helmet which will be worth like nothing now lol.
