My thought on fixing this game.
1. Scrap the entire reroll system.
2. Implement a % based drop system where all Mythic and Arcane items can drop from Elite Bosses.
3. Plat can still be sold for elixirs and opening crates to get ahead.
4. Watch as your player base skyrockets through the roof because this game just became the best MMO ever created for a mobile/tablet platform.
I know my ideas are quick and to the point but seriously give this some thought STS.

I doubt it will be implemented. The argument will be that mythic and arcane items already drop from elite via Elite Golden Chests.

One great example to base their foundation off of is WoW. I don't think AL can support a Raid system, but taking the aspects of looting from WoW is a great start.
Opening crate is the STS main source of profit and mythic/arcane is the main reason why people open crate. They will not make this possible.Originally Posted by Zapix

Your right this is a response taking the easy way out and trying not to admit there is a problem. I just hope we can work together with STS to find a solution since the core mechanics/game play are great! It's just the loot system that is flawed in a major way.

I would still prefer the chance of them dropping from Endgame Elite Bosses. Remember how WoW's looting system and loot table was? That was pretty close if not perfect.
I am not opposed to your suggestion. I just don't see it happening.
I apologize for the thread getting off course. I was distracted by the unicorn comment.
Taking away the reroll system is an interesting idea, but if they tried to do something like that many people would rage quit. A lot of people look forward to seeing that message saying they rerolled for better loot and in a way it makes runs a little more interesting. Plus they make money off of the luck elixirs. I do think the introduction of tradable kits has really had a major impact on the market and stuff has been way over farmed, maybe STS could adjust the drop system for reroll making it more rare.
Yes there needs to be a chance of a straight up drop off bosses. Otherwise really what is the point in farming.
Well they can sell elixirs still that help like Magic Find. Boom your Luck Elixir kicked in giving you a chance to get an item of more rarity.

Just imagine farming elites knowing there is a chance you could get a shard from the boss! You could even do an achievement like cracking the egg on all the bosses that would give you a slightly better chance at da goodies!
Elixirs would barely earn sts anything and a shard from the boss or another arcane or mythic item would make everyone quit AL if it's so easy there's no more fun, magma's decrease in price super fast so myths and arcanes would have no more value if this would be implented in the game.
